Lax Lake contains Walleye, Northern Pike,
Crappie, Small & Large Mouth Bass, and our famous Monster
Sunnies all for your fishing pleasure. Great shoreline
fishing for the kids... or try our “Big Rock”.
Fish freezing available for those large catches. If
small lake fishing doesn’t scratch your itch, charter
fishing as well as scenic cruises on Lake Superior is an option
in Beaver Bay. If streams are more your flow, try trout
fishing on the Baptism RIver and the Beaver River, as well as
other little local streams.

Swimming
Take a dip in the clean, clear waters of
Lax Lake on our weedless beach with raft. (unsupervised and no
lifeguard)
Berry Picking
Pick raspberries, wild strawberries, and
blueberries each in their season, ranging from June to
September. We’ll even
point you in the right direction!
