Lax Lake
Lax Lake was settled in 1896. It is
located in Lake County seven miles from Beaver Bay, Silver Bay
and Finland. The lake occupies 296 acres, part of which
is Tetteguche State Park. Lax Lake has a swimming beach
and a boat launch, and is surrounded by a forest of conifer,
birch and maple in Minnesota’s Sawtooth Mountains.
Lax Lake Resort opened its’ doors in 1928, Dean and
Jan Rudloff (and family) became the 2nd owners. We are
now is our 32nd year of operation, being run by the next
generation.
